Re: What did you buy in August?
I bought weave for my micro braids lol so that should curb my PJism for a month or so since I won't be able to experiment with my hair

Re: What did you buy in August?
I went to Target today and I purchased HEHH, and YTC shampoo and conditioner( in the sample sizes since I have been dying to try them because of all the great reviews from all of you). I am still waiting on the KCKT to get to my target so I can try it also. It's only been 6 mths since my BC so I am still in the trial and error phase and the PJism is on fire still.

Re: What did you buy in August?
VO5 Kiwi Lime Clarifying conditioner: Starting to co-wash again; this is my "cleanser," and since it's very cleansing, I may use it as my "clarifier" instead.
VO5 Champagne Kiss Moisturizing conditioner: Will be my main "cleanser," since it's more gentle than the Kiwi Lime.
Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut conditioner: Will be my moisturizing, rinse-out conditioner I use after I co-wash.
Trader Joe's Nourish Spa conditioner: An old faithful I may use as my rinse-out conditioner in case the Suave Coconut doesn't work.
DevaCurl One Condition: Got on a swap board, used half, and swapped. Nothing special about it.
Raw/unrefined shea butter: Got some in a swap; used to style my twists.
Oyin Grand Poo Bar: Got in the same swap as the shea butter.
Vegetable Glycerin: Was going to use in my various mixes, but since my hair doesn't seem to like humectants (especially glycerin), I probably won't be using it.
Silk amino acids: Got it free on a swap board and will be using it in my mixes.
Giovanni Smooth as Silk conditioner: Swapped the DevaCurl OneC for this; may use as either my leave-in or a moisturizing co-wash.
I'm desperately trying to cut down on my stash and simplify my routine, so once I use up what I have I will not be repurchasing the vegetable glycerin, Oyin Grand Poo Bar, silk amino acids or DevaCurl OneC. Also, I'm not sure if I'll keep both of the VO5 conditioners or choose between the two, but I will choose between the Suave Coconut and TJ Nourish Spa and use just one as my rinse-out conditioner. Shea butter is already a staple styler for me, but I may or may not repurchase the Giovanni SAS (depending on the results I get).

I know, I know. We are only 9 days into August and I purchased all of that stuff. LOL
The main reason is because this is my first Summer and an Natural and finding the right stuff for the humidity in Los Angeles is a chore. 2nd reason is because I want to do You Tube videos. 3rd reason is because I went swimming everyday for 4 weeks straight and my hair felt like straw after using KC Come Clean. 4th reason is because I'm a product junkie. 5th reason is because I'm suppose to return to work shortly and I wont be home to sign for the package. 6th because Wal-Mart finally increase my credit limit on my card, lol.
I just love it!!!! Still laughing...too cute!!

No, I don't think it's oily. It's thick. Thicker than it looks in the bottle. When I spray it on my hair it instantly relaxes my kinks. I've read some people add water to it to loosen it up, but I never felt I needed to do that. I do however like thicker products.
Try it!
