Can anyone tell me why my 3c curls are showing through my Twist n Curl? Are the rods not tight enough? I am so fustrated!

Your curl pattern may be too "strong" for lack of a better hair. It think it is more about the texture of your hair than the size of your curls. Your hair's curls may be similar to Blondie--she only wears WnGs due to her strong curl pattern. My hair on the other hand can do almost any style.
