ok...so we all know that petroleum is bad for hair but i can't help it...im cutting my hair off today nd getting some twists done...i have no access to shea butter or anything of that sort...Would this be too damaging?

If you're getting twists and using pure petroleum jelly to twist I imagine they'll get sticky and nasty quite soon. Your hair and scalp just can't breathe underneath that.

Can you get to a supermarket and get some coconut or olive oil? That would be miles better...
