Glycerin Empty Glycerin

Okay, I just ordered a glycerin & aloe vera spritzer from butters n bars but not sure what benefits come from it. Does anyone use it and what were your results? I've heard that some curlies use it more in the summer.

Glycerin is a humectant so it helps in retaining moisture. Because the summer is humid at times, moisture from the air is absorbed. Many do not use glycerin during winter months because there is little moisture in the air. I have never used it but other people swear by it.

What is the difference between glycerin and veggie glycerin? I picked up some glycerin from a west indian market bc it was 2.99. Is it the same?

Regular glycerin is from animal fat and Vegetable glycerin is from vegetables.
