Glycerin?

Hi fellow curlies, need your help! I've BC'd for a month now and I thought I found the answer to stretching my wash and go and retaining moisture...rewetting my hair in the morning with a spray bottle containing water, glycerin, and coconut and olive and then apply a little pink ecostyler gel. Initially I loved the results-very moisturized gently defined curls. However, now my hair feels really sticky and I'm starting to feel like I have a jerrycul lol. Do you think it is the glycerin causing this? *** please excuse any typos- I typed this on my phone.

If I put too much glycerin in my mix, my hair feels sticky too.

Thanks ladies, I'll dilute my bottle with more water. (or maybe add conditioner).
