Ok, so I co-washed and detangled with the Aussie Moist Sunday night and I used HETT as a leave in. Then this morning I washed with the KC Come Clean and I am still not a big fan of that product. I have used it 3x's and I don't like the way it makes my hair feel. I used the KCKT leave in and raked through the curling custard. I don't like the curly results I get with the KCCC, but I wanted to wear a high puff this week-so that worked perfectly.

So here are my pictures:

Your puff looks nice and thick! Do you leave your band in your hair at night when you wear a puff for more than one day?

No, I take it out. And just reposition it in the morning.

I spray my homemade spritz on my edges and tie them down for a few minutes in the morning.

Very cute puff! I'm waiting on mine to get just a little longer! I can get it high up on my head but not all of it into one band... Or maybe I need to try harder... Don't know- but yours is cute and curly! LOVE IT!

@Poeticly-It look my hair awhile before I was able to rock a high puff. Some of my hair at the back near my neck slips out of the puff if I don't use enough gel or smooth it enough, still.

Thanks for the comment.

Hey JNB!

I used a well stretched goody band. And I used your technique of not placing the band in the same position to eleviate a headache.

Well, I have had about enough of the puff. lol

Now I have another "go to style," when I don't feel like twisting my hair. Now I need to get a regime for a curly fro.

Post by coilykinks 19th June 2010, 8:57 pm

Wearing my hair in that puff all week made me soooo "hair lazy." I had to basically make myself twist my hair on yesterday.

I so wanted to try a "curly fro," this week, but until I figure out what products to use and a technique I will have to wait.

So I co-washed my hair with Aussie Moist and detangled, and I used a water-based leave in and then applied the BRBC and then I twisted with the AOHC and ecostyler gel(a tip I recv'd from a CN friend). I will be wearing my hair in twists all week until Saturday morning and then I will untwist and wear a twistout for my church's womens conference. Or I may take them down on Wednesday and retwist, and leave my hair in twists for the conference. I am still deciding.

Since becoming natural, I have obtained an obsession for jewelry. At first it was because I had very little hair, and I was wanting something to take the focus off of my hair, and then later I realized the jewelry brought more character to my natural style. I get my best pieces from JCP's Decree line and the other stuff I have collected comes from BS stores, Target, or just about anywhere else. So I ran out of space in my jewelry box and i needed something bigger. Well, JCP had there jewelry armoires on sale, and I bought one. Well, guess what? That was still not big enough.

So I am posting pics of my twists and also some of my jewelry collection.

@Dva-I have always wanted one but they are pricey. So when I ran out of space in my old box-I had no choice but to upgrade.
