I can't never get them to work. I am looking for some protective style ideas that are different from what I typically do with my hair. I was going to roller-set to prevent SSKs and then bun. I may still do it - I am just worried about the old habit of "running from water"

Oh yes running from water...nothing like spending all that time doing a rollerset and then a few drop of humidity/moisture ruin it.

LOL, exactly! And for some reason May has been a rainy month so far. Last week it was over 90° and today I am wearing a sweater. Crazy.

Tia...what do you do to retain moisture after you rinse out your dc? I was searching on you blog, but I didn't find it. I know it's there because I've read it before. What key word should I search on?
TIA....(cute thanks in advance spells your name)
Have a great day!!

Ever since the castor oil challenge I have NOT had any issues with dry scalp, even after shampooing. I could be crazy - but I dont think so, LOL
I have only used the castor oil twice (that I can remember) since the end of the challenge and things are looking and feeling good.

Yep, only when needed. I now refrain from jumping on bandwagons because they would only punish my hair. I listen to my hair and give it what it asks for.
