1 month since BC'ed
I am so excited about my 1st month at being natural. I am amazed at how much my hair is growing and look forward to next month. Each day I look foward to trying new things with my twa. Thanks Nikki for all the blogs that you post about, looking at so many natural stories gives me great ideal on what products to buy and how I can style my hair. Here are a couple pictures of my 1 month post BC.

Congrats sista! Your hair is so cute! My curls looked like that when I first BC'd about 1 1/2 months ago...now they're curly in some areas, kinky in others, wavy in the frony, fuzzy on the side. LOL. My TWA has an attitude of its own!

@Chef Lucy - Thank you! My hair now looks like a cottony bush. LOL Underneath, there are a lot of corkscrew curls. I'm noticing in the back the I have a lot of corkscrew curls. The one thing that I do know is that this process is so exciting.

@ TMS SHUT UP! My hair is doing the EXACT same thing! I little fuzz here and some corkscrews there...I'm completely baffled. LOL, where did my tender little curls go and how do I get them back?! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
However I do agree it is VERY exciting--->[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] <-- this is how I feel about my hair...LOL
But I'm already a product junkie and it's only been less than 2months since the BC. (shaking my head)
Have you found a regimen that works for you?

You don't even want to know how many containers of stuff I have. I really don't have to purchase another product this year. SHAMEFUL
I have not figured out a regimen. Tonight, I used afroveda's Kissi Conditioner as a leave-in followed by Curl Define and then PUR Whipped Gelly and I must say that this combo has given me the most defined curls than any other product.

PUR Whipped Gelly? Haven't heard of it....but it sounds good, and light. What brand is the Curl Define?

OMGosh! The PUR Whipped Gelly smells divine. Curl Define is also by Afroveda.

I'm jotting it down in my "Future things to buy" list as we speak. Smelly good hair products are THE BOMB. Sometimes I wonder if I buy it just for the smell or for what it actually does for my hair....my judgement may just be clouded by the wonderful aroma coming from my hair. Who knows! I wonder the same thing. I know my judgement is definitely clouded because I am a "smell good girl" all day long. Seriously, I'll be happy when I do find something that is absolutely perfect. Right now, I know it is trial and error.
