id definitely say go back to DCin and also try pre-pooin! i slacked off w/pre-pooin lately and i'll get back on my grind w/oil rinses too!

Good Morning Curlies!

I have been soo lazy with my hair lately. I was going to try and do twist last night but opted for a quick and easy co-wash followed by a scalp massage and my satin scarf lol. My next style attempt will definetly be twist whenever I get the will to do it...smh. I have been wearing my hair out more without headbands. My hubby made a comment saying "Wow I haven't seen your hair in months" lol. It does feel better to be able to give those headbands up.

I measured my hair and it is 2inches in the front, between 3-4 on the top and a cool n breezy 4 in the back. I can actually grab a ponytail in the back when I wash it.

Shrinkage is no joke but I think when I do the twist that will stretch it a lot. I think I will do smaller ones so that when I do a twist out I won't have to manipulate it that much. When I did the coils the smaller ones turned out better that the big ones with the coil out. I wish that I had someone to do them for me....for free anyway. I just can't see paying 45 bucks for something that I can do myself...but I'm cheap like that lol

lol, and thats how i feel about gettin my hair done too. i wanted to make an appt for some coils but when i realized i could save that $60, it motivated me to just try it myself and i liked it better than any stylist could do. i mean they wouldve did it neater but i just love being able to do it myself (not to mention its FREE). my gf got 2 strands "professionally" done (shes lazy) and im lookin at her like... i can do those wit my eyes closed now!

hey mel, i did some coils on friday night and last night i did a quick co-wash with tresseme flawless curls went to sleep and spritzed this morning (water, oil glycerin) and this is the best wash and go i have ever had. I measured myhair yesterday too and it is about the same as yours except the back. (remember i got scalped)

i haven't been on in awhile so i thought i was about to catch up but i logged in on the playstation and ican't see any comments. i'm going back and forth with the game so i will have to catch up tomorrow.

i did the twist andthey were sticking up and doing they own thing so those did not stay in. is there a trick to it??? i haven't been doing anything to my hair. i did however breakdown and order some shea butter and a conditioning hair masque from butters n bars. can't wait to get those.

well since i am limited with what i can on i will catch up tomorrow.

knh says good things about the cond mask so i cant wait to see ur review! its still on my wishlist after i use up some of my stash! how are u twisting? wet or dry? it may lay down better on wet hair n throw on a stockin cap or tie it down wit a scarf.
