2 months down, forever to go! You're making me want to try YTC... I hated yes to carrots but after I finish up my other conditioners, that is on the list. I'm coming to Chicago sometime this summer. I'll have to check on a meet up your way!

Good afternoon to all my fellow curlies. I think I am on to something, sinced I BC'd I have been using water based products as a leave in. I have been getting either crunchy hair or hard hair, and I am thinking to myself why is it like this and I have not even put gel in my hair. Sooo about a week ago I purchased Aubrey Organics White Camellia. I put that stuff in and the smell was horrible, then I realized I mixed it with YTC RoseBud's Curl Street Journal - Page 18 Kopfschuettel

I wanted this to wrk so bad so i did a deep conditioner with it and put some in as a leave in. WOW was my hair soft, and it sayed soft! Being hard headed i went back and used HEHH on sunday and HETT on monday as leave in and guess what? crunchy hair. Last night I co-washed and used the AOWC, and went to sleep. When I got up, yep soft hair. I sprayed it with water and applied it again and 6 hours later yep soft hair. I am wondering if my hair does not like water based products? It could also be the cone that is in them. Mahogany Curls recently had a bad experience with it. Check out her thread it's in the last few pages.

ITA, Me and my daughter are natural and what works for her hair don't for mine. Like her hair loves protein, and mine only minimum amounts of protein. I hope it all works out Rosebud Very Happy
