Challenge #1: One Gallon of WATER a day

Hey ladies! Happy New Year!

I look forward to becoming healthy in 2010.

Many people do not drink nearly enough water a day as they should. So our first challenge will be 1 gallon of water a day. (128oz) This challenge will run from January 1st through January 8th.

You can update daily, or however often you are able to. Even if you don't drink the gallon, you can still update and let us know what you were able to drink.

Any ideas on what you would like next weeks challenge to be? Let me know!

I am with you...I just have to get my water. I have been out a few times and had hair on my mind. I will get up early and get my water...we post in here right?

How are you all doing on your water intake today?

I have had about 32oz so far.

This is a great challenge for me because I def do not drink enough water.

I'm just now`seeing this and so much of the day has passed but I will continue from here on out. I've drank about 16oz today. I have to start guzzling lol

Ok here's the real way to see how much water you need daily, if any of you would rather do it like that...

The rule of thumb is 1oz of water for every 2 pounds of weight. So for example if you weigh 200lbs, you will need 100oz per day...

Wow...good one. My hubby always tells me to drink more water....I've haved 24oz so far and its 9:03. But I'm in....and next week I've already challenged myself to do 100 crunches/bicycles every day before bed....so maybe that can be next weeks. Whew, at 11:13 PM, I made it. I have my water bottle by the bed so I will drink as much as possible before I get out of bed in the morning. Keep up the good work ladies!

I finished my gallon a FEW minutes before midnight! This is harder than I thought.

I got about 48oz of water in today. I hadn't drank much of anything today before I came and saw this challenge so I'll definitely work on that tomorrow, well today actually. See you curlies back here later today.

Just saw this and it's 1130 on Saturday for me. Will start today. Be back later with tally.

Just read this post and its day 2 but i am joining now. Just got up so nothing yet but i willcheck in later with results.

Just saw this so I'm in as well. I got a 1/2 gal in.

32 oz so far...just bought Crystal Light from WalyWorld(walmart) so I'll make a big pitcher of it....should make this a tad be easier for me and my sweet tooth! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
