I'm feeling much, much better. Thank goodness for cipro.
Sorry, but I don't think I'll be experimenting with my hair much. I really like the simplicity of doing the wash n go puff, so I'll probably stick with that style for a while.
Ok, since you are happy with that style right now, I guess I have to respect that
Just be careful with your edges.

TJ,
I am learning to keep it simple too in the product department. Now that I've found a shea butter mix that Roxie likes, my search for the "magic" butter is over.
I am slowly but surely using up my stash. I am gonna order some Oyin in May (love their products for spring/summer) and that's it.

TravelJunkie,
Welocme back!!! I am so glad that you enjoyed your experience in Haiti. Thanks for sharing the pics. Your hair looks great and I understand about liking the puff and not wanting to mess with your hair much. Once I get a puff, I'm pretty sure I will feel the same way.

Yes, simple is better. It's also easy to tell what works and doesn't when you're only using 2-3 things at a time. There is only one "high-end" product that I really, really want to try and that's KCCC. I think I'm gonna buy it in April or May. The other two things I want to try are Aussie Moist and Trader Joe's Nourish Spa.

Check out journal excerpts from my trip to Haiti. It'll give you some insight into my daily activities and opinions on situations I encountered.

I actually switched things up earlier this week and did a twist out.
But I'm back in my WNG puff today. I tried to take pics of my wet hair because it's starting to look even more coily, but my camera battery was dead. Next time!

Re: **traveljunkie08**
Hey ladies! I did a wash n go today. I'm so glad I was able to let it dry while I sat outside enjoying the nice weather.
I did a DC overnight with AO. This morning I shampooed with Gio TTT and tried to detangle with Desert Essence Organics Conditioner. Hated it. It did nothing for my hair. I'm so glad I only paid a few dollars for it. Anyway, I used my trusty HE to detangle, then smoothed a little more throughout my hair. Finally I smoothed through some EVOO and put on a micro turban towel for about an hour. After sitting outside for an hour, it was dry.
Overall, I like the results. It's a little frizzy in spots, but that's okay. I'll probably turn it into a puff tomorrow.
I'm going to try a more defined wash n go using eco styler gel either later this week or next week.

See you are like me, you get curls without gels, so I am sure the Ecostyler will really make your curls pop!

I think the result is great. When all else fails, Ms. Puff is your best friend.

Re: **traveljunkie08**
So, I tried Eco Styler today. Can't say that I love it, but I don't hate it either. It looks too...polished. I think I might like the fluffier, imperfect look with just the conditioner. I took my youngest nephew to the zoo, so here's a pic of the style:
I just want to comb or brush it to loosen it up and get more volume. I think my curls clumped too much. Maybe next time I'll run a comb through my hair after applying the gel to separate it more. Or else I'll just stick to conditioner.

Re: **traveljunkie08**
Hey TJ,
How did you apply the EcoStyler? That's on my 'to do' list too. I like it but like everyone else I understand your frustration.
