Hi, I'm typically a lurker on the message board, but I've just read every page of thread and it's been really neat to see your growth and progress! Your hair is beautiful! I'm still trying to master the twists and twistouts myself.
Also, I'm a crocheter as well but I am SUCH a slacker when it comes to finishing projects. My problem is that I start projects b/c I want to try a new pattern or learn a new stitch, but I get bored once I get to the repetitive part. My poor husband...he's been waiting for me to finish his blanket for almost 2 years. When he asks me about the blanket, I always tell him "Patience is a virtue". LOL

Have a great weekend.

Hello Curlfriends,
I don't have much to update besides this cough is back!!! SOOOO I am taking meds and in the bed; therefore, the odds of a roller set are slim to none. I have my scrap yarn in the bed with me and my YT videos going to try some new patterns. If I do the roller set of course I will come back with a photo shoot. LOL because that is what we curlies do!!!
Enjoy your Sunday!

Re: Sweetdrk1
Thanks Sweet. You get some rest.
Nowadays the cough is the hardest thing to get rid of. So even when u start to feel better:
1. avoid talking outside in the cold air especially night air.
2. liquids liquids and more liquids.
3. if u have sinus issues use ur sinus pills and/or nasal spray.
4. cut back on milk n cheese even if its not productive this still has thickening properties that makes mucus hard to get rid of.
HTH I was sick a lot last year so experience is a teacher.
I am praying for u as well.

Thank you ladies, I try not to always run to the doctor, but I have become a punk every since the cancer. So doc will hear from me in the AM..
But looky what I did while I was in the bed, she wanted one so I found a pattern. Now I need to make one for myself and take it to a tailor and get it lined... I am excited!!

Hi Sweetdrk1-
I do love the scarf you made. After reading one of your posting...I looked up a pattern for a poncho. I used to crochet a long time ago, and I think I would like to see if I remember the basics.
I hope you are feeling better. Take care...
Deborah

Good morning Curlfriends!!
Thank you for all the kind words about the Cowl neck!! I have to make one for me now. Today I really appreciate my curls, my NATURAL HAIR, that loves water. I smiled ever so softly as I watched everyone running to get out of the rain, umbrellas flying in the wind; meanwhile me and Sasha were strutting our stuff..with our favorite boots on!!!
My WnG was just taking in all the moisture and I love it! Oh the joys and versatility of Natural hair!! That is my update for today. I am still in desire of a roller set, it's just not happening. OOO an tonight is JACK!!! LOL so it's really not happening!!
