Tiashauntee- I was looking through the curly nikki calendar and guess what I found out!!! We (me and you) have the same DOB- March 5th! Usually for my birthday - I try to do something different! Last year I went to Vegas! This year was to be Italy! No job- means I will have to do something - really really really cheap! lol

I may go see if they have it at Barnes and Noble! I have skimmed a few pages while at amazon.com! I saw youtube review but was apprehensive about the purchase!

yea.....three years!
But it's not that bad when I look at you ladies and how young everyone looks I don't mind having more and more birthdays
I actually got carded last weekend and the lady told me I looked 20. I get dirty looks from people when I take my Godson's out because people think I am a teen parent-someone actually said something to me and I had to check her quick. I just laugh.

I have it. It is a good read and has several pages of resources. I will get it back from my friend and take another look so I can give more specific information.

I am reading it now. I like it and I would recommend it! It tells youeverything. About hair patterns, styles, slavery, and the authors transition.

I think it is a must read for anyone thinking about going natural or who are already natural. I must say though now with the world wide web and all the natural communities out there she does say alot of things I have heard before but it is presented nicely and there are some things in there that I haven't heard. I think its good book to have. The Knotty Truth was a great book also!!
