Mission COMPLETE!!!
i wanted to share this moment with you ladies...
the other day while at work a mother and daughter came into my store. i work in retail. anywho...the mother was caucasian and the little girl looked as if she was bi-racial. so the little girl asked me did i like my curly hair. and i said with a huge smile on my face "I LOVE MY CURLY HAIR!!!" so then i asked her did she like her curly hair. and she looked down at the floor and whispered "no". her mother then says her daughter hates her hair and would rather wear it straight and asked me to talk to her while she shopped. i was thrilled! i talked to this girl for a moment and told her how special she was because not everyone can have curly hair and how pretty she is and unique...later me and her mom discussed products and regimens...needless to say her mom was very pleased that i talked with her daughter and she appeared to feel MUCH better about her beautiful curls!!!
ive talked with many of my friends about embracing their hair's natural state...and let me tell you it feels GREAT to know that i can help other ladies young and old to embrace their NATURAL self
Have a BEAUTIFUL day

awww, that brought tears to my eyes in a good way. What a wonderful impact you have made on not only the little girl, but also the mom. Good Karma is heading your way.

Thanks everyone! I couldnt help to but to smile once they left my daughter (5) is kinda at the stage where she wants long hair bc its prettier. Shes still young but little girls are getting younger and having self esteem issues. Thats why its so imp to have a positive image for her.

What a wonderful story. Regardless of what decision she will make about her hair in the future, she'll probably always remember the kind and uplifting words you said to her as a child. I know I remember powerful moments like that when I was a young child. A little confidence goes a long way. Bravo!
