I totally agree!
Re: :: Lynnieluve ::
Thanks all! No I didn't do them myself. I haven't learned how to do my own natural hair yet. I go to a natural salon in Houston. The only thing I didn't like tho is that she used a product with cones and parabens to do the coils. @Lynnieluve what did you do yours with? I need to learn to do them myself so I can avoid those products.

Thanks LilMsPuddles!
@ MissLeggz - I used my shea butter mix (shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E oil, lemongrass and lavendar essential oil) with aloe vera gel for the coils.

(Week 3 Day 1)
I woke up this morning with my hair in a coil out high top fade. It's gonna take me about 30 minutes to get my hair back in place. I'm glad the only place I plan on going today is to the gym (hubby is on vacation so I didnt have to go at 5am) and to the grocery store.
I am ready to wash my hair but I am gonna try to hold out one more day. I've decided I'm gonna wear a coil out for Christmas. Hopefully it wont take me 4 hours this time. The first time, there was a learning curve but I know what to do now. I am gonna use Karens Body Beautiful Hair Butter this time. I hope it has enough hold. I'll let you guys know how it works for me. I think that's all for now.
Have a Marvelous Monday!!
Product review of Karens Body Beautiful Body Butter coming soon.

So I am failing miserable at not buying products until the New Year. Since I first decided to not buy products until the New Year I have purchased the following things:
$75 worth of Karens Body Beautiful
2 bottles of Organix Mandarin Olive Oil Conditioner
2 bottles of Giovanni Direct Leave In Conditioner
2 sample bottles of Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat/Smooth as Silk
5 bottles of VO5 Moisture Milk/Herbal Escapes
Y'all pray for me....

Re: :: Lynnieluve ::
You need intervention and prayer, LOL.
What did you get from Karen's? I am a fan. I love her hair cream and hair milk.
Is Herbal Escapes a VO5 product? I may have to be on the watch for it. I prefer VO5 to Suaves for co-washing. It has a thinner consistency.

Yes, I do need prayer. Bow your head and close your eyes....Lord, please help me to realize that there is no way I will be able to use up all the stuff I currently have let alone all the stuff I still want to buy for months. Help me take control of the product junkie inside of me. In Jesus name, Amen!
I ordered the 2 sample packs and the body butter. Yes, Herbal escapes is the clarifying conditioner. It's the green one.
