Re: Have you ever tried this DC method
I tried it, and it didn't cause heat damage. The temp is fairly low, like 200 degrees or so, which is less than boiling water, so in theory it shouldn't 'fry' the hair shaft. The first time I did it I can't say I was impressed, but then again the conditioner that I used has unfortunately stopped working for my hair. When I find one that moisturizes my hair properly, I'll try it again.
I say if you're interested, give it a go. Let us know your results.

I think the You-tuber name is Kelly not sure but there should be another video up there also about this DC treatment.. Top Mop Maven usually does hers after she henna.. Kelly calls her Ionic Treatment which is similar to eash other I guess its only the name that is a difference.. I think Kelly use a special conditioner that contains little crystals. I henna so this is something I wanted to try just not sure what conditioner to use unless I use Mizani Hydrafuse not sure if this can be used alone or not its usually mixed with kerafuse which is a strengthening treatment. If not maybe their moisturefusion.
I think Top Mop Mave also mentioned not to do this too much either.
