Funny story of a dumb woman's comment....

So my mom and I were talking the other day and she told me how when I was a small baby, like a few weeks old-small, she was outside with me. And you know how many of us have slick, super straight hair when we are newborns. So this white woman came up and saw my mom with me and said something like, "Oh, I see you already put a perm in her hair!" WTH???? LMAO.....how dumb can one be??? This conversation came up because of the dumb ass woman who put the lace front baby wig on her poor little baby (did y'all see that?) and the dumb things people say/do when it comes to hair. SMH!!! Just thought I'd share!!!! LOL

Erm, y'all are looking at a pic of a lace-front on a baby and then laughing at a White woman for believing that someone might possibly perm their baby's hair. Do you not see the irony?

Also, I don't see how somebody not used to seeing Black babies would know that they aren't born with more-curly adult hair. Ignorant, yes. Funny, uh huh, but I wouldn't call her dumb or suggest smacking her lips.
I remember when I was small I saw a baby picture of a friend and didn't believe it was her because at the time I didn't know many White people have much lighter eyes and hair when they're born/or when they're toddlers compared to when they're older.

Didn't know =/= dumb. Hands up if you've never asked a question or wrongly assumed something in your life...
