Hey ladies...

well I know that Curlynikki specializes in curly girls or natural hair, but i have a friend of mine who has dreads (or she is starting dreads) and I keep telling her about this site and everything. she was intrigued and wondered if there were any sites similar to curlynikki or even nappturality.com. i've checked for her and the ones i see come up are not for African american's (go figure!)

So i thought.... these intelligent women on here know EVERYTHING! so i'm asking ya'll if you know any good sites or do you think this site woulud help her?????

Thanks guys!

I found a little bit more info on the net. I gave her the list of info i got and she was estatic. I don't know if she will do any of what it says (she's a little lazy and nonproductive) But i will still try. even if i have to get in her head myself

i refuse to let her look like a mess with nasty stanky dreads. her and her dude have them soooooo.... gotta help them all.

@ labon10: Thanks! She's my Ace boon with BEUTIFUL hair but then she went and put dreads in it cuz she didn't want to deal with her hair. I really wish I would have known about this site a year ago.... Here's her pic.

Hey tiashauntee, Do you have any suggestions as to what's the best dye to use in locs? My hubbby likes his hair black ( black black) and his ends tend to lighten so we are looking for a permanent dye that works reeeeally well with locs. Any suggestions. Thanks momma.

My hubby wants me to dye his tips so this is something I have been looking into also. I was planning to use box dye on his tips. The only thing I am worrying about is getting all the dye out. You know the locs will absorb the dye (like everything else) and will stay unless rinsed well. I still researching.
