Prettydimples inspired style
My hair didn't come out exactly like hers, but I tried. I like the style and I think it will look much better once my hair is longer. To do the style I used Silk Elements Leave-in Cream and my homemade Shea honey hair cream.

LaToya you seriously have skills! This hairstyle is gorgeous! I love the twists up high and to the side. I'm telling you, you are going to see me real soon.

My avi is my attempt to recreate that same style. I did single strand flat twists up and to the side in the back and the front is a coil-out!

Cool, I didn't realize that others liked this style as well. I'll definitely be giving it another try in the future.

Thanks. How did you do the parting on the side to make the pattern. Pray that I develop some parting skills, because that's the hardest part to me.

I agree, parting is the hardest part. Basically, I just followed her instructions in the video. I parted my hair from ear to ear. I started with the back first and just parted diagonal rows.

@ Toya, you did a good job and it looks good!
I just did this style on New Year's eve so that I would have a new style going into the new year. I am going to try to leave it in for 1 more week. This was my first time doing it and I loved the way it turned out so I'm sure I'll revisit this style!
