The cornrows took about 1 hr, I moisturized the hair in my bun with Care Free Curl and Suave Vanilla Floral condish. So far I have gotten a lot of compliments. I feel better today

I love todays hair. I wish I could cornrow... they just never look right. I've been practicing on baby boy though so you know that means he moves around like crazy. I even tried cornrowing hubbys locs but he's almost as bad as Taj lol.

Your hair looks AWESOME! The bun yesterday was not bad at all, and the hairstyle today is on fiyah!!

I am AMAZED at how well you can cornrow your own hair, and get those parts so straight!!! I cornrow my daughters' hair, but no way I can do my own. I drive myself crazy trying to get their parts straight! It would take me all day to do my own!!

Did you use anything to "slick" up/back the bun?

@.:Eden:. I start my cornrows in the middle. Meaning I don't start braiding on one side and then coming over. I think starting in the middle helps me to keep both sides identical
