need help...hair growth 2011

Going on 7 mths natural with shoulder length hair (stretched). What's a realistic "hair growth goal for 2011"? Trying to join some type of challenge but don't want my feelings hurt because I was being unrealistic.

Hey msnubeauty. Supposedly the average rate of hair growth is 6" a year. Give or take a little. You can join our challenge "New Castor Oil Challenge" and there's one for 2011 HairGrowth Challenge (I think that's the name of it).

Hair only grows about 6 inches a year which translates only to half an inch a month. Focus on maintaining healthy hair and retaining the length you have and I am sure you'll be fine! I am currently participating in the New Castor Oil Challenge. I have not measured for new growth but my scalp is thanking me. HTH!
