WOW!! that'a just insane!!! And that one woman said as long as her hair is pretty she doesn't care what's in the product!!! WTH???? That's just ridiculous!!!! Especially when folks are having to wear GAS masks, and getting nose bleeds and breathing problems!!!! That's dumb as hell!!!!! They'll wish they had thought twice when they get some kinda cancer cuz of it!!!!

OMG!!! I am not putting anything in my hair that causes me to have to wear a effin gas mask. Are you serious?!! Some people are just clueless about what's important. You don't mind getting cancer as long as your hair is pretty?!!! REALLY? scratch

And as long as I'm feeding it healthy things I don't mind if my hair looks like crap . That's why I don't even pay attention to how my hair reacts to ingredients, which I know is a no-no to many natural heads, but ultimately my priority is that my hair is receiving minimally processed and nutrient rich ingredients, so who cares if olive oil is to greasy or if shea butter just sits there?---Those are my trade offs.

But the "getting cancer is fine as long as my hair looks pretty?" attitude...that's sad. I really wish people would ask themselves why straight hair is pretty

well the woman said she didn't care what was in the products as long as her hair is pretty. I added the cancer thing in there just to make a point. But ultimately, that's what's gonna happen, and if not cancer then something else!! I mean if bloody noses and loss of breath isn't bad enough, what are they gonna do? wait til something worse happens??? These women are VAIN VAIN VAIN!!!! It's crazy. Putting relaxers in our hair was bad enough. But these women are putting FORMALDEHYDE in their freakin hair!!!!!!! FORMALDEHYDE!!!!! WHAT???? SMH!!!!! Mad

I did the same thing, misskris, as far as the "cancer" comment. Because since there's such a dangerous ingredient in the product that is possibly cancer-causing, and she says she doesn't care what's in it, then she's essentially saying she doesn't care if she gets sick as long as her hair is "pretty."

@Lysheba89 - You're right. I know for me, the ONLY reason my relaxed hair was prettier than my natural hair was because I didn't know how to take of my curly/kinky hair.

I know. Well I think they need to take that crap off the market!!!! Surely there is something else women can use to straighten their hair that doesn't have formaldehyde in it. Are they just too lazy to even flat iron/blow dry/hotcomb their hair???? SMH!!!

Misskriss, even with this treatment, I know people who STILL have to flat iron and blow-dry their hair. They dont have wash and go straight hair, it just decreases the time it takes to flat iron or blow-dry. Silliness.
