Sweetdrk Mom is better. She is back home. Spending time with dad today cuz it's his B-day. all is back to normal..lol whatever that is.

Okay ya'll i have to brag! I am cooking my Thanksgiving dinner tonight for my house since we were at my mom's. I put my foot in them greens, omg! They are the bomb! Turkey is still in oven but looking good baby looking good! On to the Mac n cheese and finish off with carrots and it will be all ready! Yum!

The independent artist I work with just got nominated for a GRAMMY! I'm ecstatic! (and planning my trip to Cali!)

Ugh. Been workin hard at work and worried prayin for my bestie. She's n the hospital cuz her heart and breathing been actn up. (She has had like 9 surgeries in the past and she doesn't like to take her meds cuz they make her p a lot but its to drain the fluid out her heart) but she's ok. She been callin me at the hospital. And I no its all n Gods habds so I have nothing to worry about.

But anyways I found out I have to work on xmas. My brother wanted to hang out because I didn't get to see him on thinksgiving.

All this stress is stressin me. *sigh* I have to admit I havin been taking my meds either.

Stupid missed call stupid me for needing a bit of rest from working all week while u just sit at home doing god knows wat.... Stupid me for making more money than u huh. Stupid arms that bruise to ez. Stupid fan that just so happens to break everything its thrown. Stupid me for cheating on u with a freakin commercial.... Stupid ex who still calls stupid gps u wish u had. Stupid holidays. Ugh stupid long days and short nights.

Ok..yesterday I wore my normal puff...this time it was 3 days. All I do is use the rest of that expensive MJ Curly buttercreme that I bought last year - i actually like it alot..
So a coworker is mentioning that she had her cousin/half-sister...somebody's daughter and had to comb her hair and said it was nappy and she was going to get her a relaxer - she is 9

I ask why would u put a chemical in her hair, its lye...something you can clean the tires on yo' car

i had to stand up (lol i cant stand up on my own) and tell her #1 i aint half white, #2 we all got "good hair", #3 i learned how to treat my hair good and learned how TO DO IT...(i sit back down)

this is the first time she has ever said this to me, we are actually real cool but its interesting to see how she really feels. she was one of those who gave me the side eye when i first said i wasnt going relax again and basically got the caesar. it pissed me off but then i shrugged it off just saying to myself that it was beyond ignorant.
i would get her the book 'why i love being natural' but i dont know if she would read it or not.

I know you are in a place right now that may not be the best for you. In fact it is not. Sometimes we don't see what others see and this is one of those times.
