Hey everyone, I am 4 months post BC and I am looking for a great OTC moisturizer. Also, lately I have been expierencing those yucky white balls/beads when I am applying products. I am getting pretty frustrated. I will happily accept any suggestions you may have. I dont know what to do. Please help!!

Hi aj72, I am one who has for so many years suffer with dryness as well as dullness. If OTC means over the counter, then I cannot advice or suggest anything that will be effective. I can say that wetting hair completely and sealing with oils has helped tremendously. As for moisturizing products Qhemet Biologics is excellent. The amla and olive heavy cream is superb, but if it is too heavy then the Burdock Root Butter cream, works well and is a little lighter. If you can order or if you are in one of the areas that sell Qhemets, you will absolutely appreciate these products. Hope everything works out, Blessings flower

If you are a fan of glycerin, Luster's No Drip Curl Activator is a great moisturizer. I recently changed my regimen- I'm putting the spray bottle down (my spritz) and using the Luster's instead. My curls don't shrink, I have moisture all day, I use for two strand twist and have great results. This product isn't greasy; you don't have to use much. I don't spray directly onto my hair; I spray in hands, mix and then apply to hair. My two strand twists done on dry hair really look nice and last a few days. I chaged my regimen because it's getting too cold for a wet head. I had this product sitting around and figured, why not give it a try.

Sounds like product incompatibility or applying to much product. Kimmaytube is a good leave in or KCKT and work well with products from another line.

Sounds like you're applying too much product in your hair.

Water and oils I must say are the best for me to moisturize my hair.
