Yarn Braids or Mini Twists??

So I'm trying to decide which protective style to do for the next month or so. I did some yarn braids in the back of my head and some mini twists in the front. I like them both and they're both going to take the rest of the day, but I can't decide which to do.

My concern with the yarn braids is the burning of the ends (I never liked how it feels) and my hair sticking out of the braids where my hair ends. You can't really tell in the picture but it bothers me and I can't figure out how to stop it lol any advice??

I really like two strand twists but I know I would have more style options with the yarn braids because of the length.

I like the twists!

I would love to do yarn braids. I think they're more versatile, you can add color to it without dyeing your hair! I read on many blogs and instruction sites, that they knot the ends as an alternative and they were not obvious at all. I guess that would depend on how you tie the knot though.

Well I'm doing the yarn braids :/ I'm almost halfway done... kinda lol. I'll post pics when I'm done. They're really easy to do once you get the hang of it

Twists, add hair if you want length.

I like the twist and I was going to say do your own kinky twists, but I see your almost finish with the yarn braids now. I put in kinky twists watching youtube tutorials and it was easy once I got going...post pics please. I saw BlackOnxy when she did hers and they came out cute also :-)

I love Yarn Twist I dont braid cause im lazy and taking them out would take me forever!! When my end stick out for me it usually means I need a dusting... like split ends tend to poke out, I cant tell on your pictures any hair sticking out at all.... Good luck in your hair journey!!!
