ORS TWIST AND LOCK GEL
So I went out and bought the ORS twist and lock gel to get more defintion out of my coils/coil outs and twists/twist outs. My question is does it mix well with other products?? I want to use Giovanni direct leave-in, and mix it with whipped shea butter. Any experiences?

None on ORS but if you ever decide to try Taliah Waajid Lock it up.. It really defines my hair and it mixed well with other products..
Sorry I know this don't answer your question but just in case you are looking for another lock gel can be one you might can consider..
I also have her curl defining cream but haven't tried that yet.

Re: ORS TWIST AND LOCK GEL
I've used ORS twist n lock with the Shea Moisture Deep Mask as a styler and also with just a shea butter mix and I had no problems with it. To see if it plays well with other products mix the twist n lock and the other product you're using in your hands to see if they blend well together or not. HTH
Re: ORS TWIST AND LOCK GEL
I used it with some of everything when I was transitioning. Giovanni Direct as a leave-in, then sealed with cocount oil and used Shea Moisture Curl Smoothie and the ORS to twist. No problems.

Yes agree with the ladies. You should have no problems. I actually used the ORS with everything, and its never gave me problems or anything. I have very good twists with that product. I'm only searching for something else because of ingredient.

Oh ok thanks ladies, Im not really ingredient picky, only about a few things, but nothing bothers me about the ORS gel, can't wait to use it.

Re: ORS TWIST AND LOCK GEL
I just bought this a couple of days ago. I went looking for the Smooth-n-Hold Pudding & picked this up when I didn't see it. I found the pudding & ended up getting both! I'm such a sucka!!
I am hell bent on getting some hold with my twists. SOMETHING has to work instead of leaving my hair straight w/a slight wave to it. That's so frustrating.
I'm about to henna & DT. I'll try the set tomorrow since I have an interview Thursday. PLEASE report back how this worked out for u! I think I'm going to try the Pudding first

BTW, the twist & loc gel is on sale at Sally's for 2.99 (that's part of the reason I went ahead & got both lol)

Re: ORS TWIST AND LOCK GEL
Hey Kimmie the ORS is the BOMB I combined it with whipped shea and used Giovanni Direct as my leave in. Just enough hold, no crunch, moisturized coils/coil out. My coil out lasted 3 days, I washed last night and did some twists with the same products. I plan on leaving my twist in for at least a week!

Thanks. I've never done coils. And I don't even know what a coil out is lol. I've just put in my DC after doing my henna. Tomorrow after I rinse the conditioner out, I'm going to section my hair into 3 parts & do a twist n curl using the ORS lock & twist gel, ORS pudding & GF curl cream gel on different sections. I have to do all of my trial runs in one day since my interview is Thursday. I'll see which section turns out the best & re-do if I have to.
This is my first "style" attempt since I've been natural. I usually just wash n go. I've been doing that for like 5yrs lol Even when I had a relaxer. Living in FL had me spoiled!
