Homemade Shampoo Empty Homemade Shampoo

Hey ladies-
I can't seem to find a shampoo that won't dry my hair out. So i decided to make my own using black african soap mixed in hot distilled water and a few oils (after the mixture cooled down)....
Have you ever made your own shampoo?
Why did you go that route?
what did you use?

what is the recipe you used exactly? I bought african soap in bulk and I've been dying to use it
