Aloe Spritz Empty Aloe Spritz

Post by summerbreeze76 12th October 2010, 11:22 pm

So i have been trying to make myself like my Spritzs with Aloe. Initially made one with Aloe, water and oil. It was okay, it didnt seem to really do anything to my hair. I used it up.

I just made another batch, with Aloe, rose water, distilled water and a little Almond Oil. I think i hate it. My hair today would not curl and it felt rought at the ends. I am not sure if it is the Aloe or the rose water. I havent used the rose water before today. I seriously dont think that i will be finishing up this spritz.

I use the Aloe juice just fine in my Kimmaytube mixture and i love it.

Anyone else experience something similar?

When I use plain avg on my hair it feels like straw, but it's fine in other products. Try each ingredient on you hair alone to see how it reacts so you can pinpoint what's throwing off your formula.

I have the aloe spritzer from BnB and I love it!!! I thought about trying to make a homemade version of it but I think I will just purchase instead. I use it to moisturize my hair while in two strand twist.

My mix is AVG, Water & Veg Glycerin... sometimes I add essential oils, sometimes I don't. The VG helps my hair maintain softness all day.

I use water, aloe vera gel, vegetable glycerine, and jojoba/coconut oil. My water/gel ratio is about half and half and my glycerine/oil combo is approx. 2 teaspoons each. This spritzer does nothing for my hair unless it has been previously styled. So on day three after a twist out, it definitely brings my hair back to life.

I have a veggie glycerine mix too and I love it - keeps my hair super soft and moisturized. I add distilled water, veggie glycering, EVOO, rosemay oil, tea tree and sometimes sweet almond oil.
