BAKING SODA!!!!! Empty BAKING SODA!!!!!

Post by Lioness_Mane 10th October 2010, 5:33 pm

I was trying something out a few weeks ago and I fell in love with it. I mixed V05 conditioner and baking soda together in a bowl. then I poured the mixture in my hair until its totally saturated. next I comb the mixture completely thru my hair. Once I rince all of it out, my hair is perfect. My hair shines, its easy to comb, everything. Has anyone ever tried this before??? I've been tell all my naturals about it. afro

Cool, you got good results. I thought I read somewhere on here that BS wasn't good for the hair. Off to do some research.

I did a little research and found a site that says to wash the hair with baking soda and pain water or mixed with baby shampoo. then do a apple cider vinegar rinse.

You do have to do an apple cider vinegar rinse after or you'll mess up the PH. But do watch the video because you may decide you don't want to do it at all.

I did a baking soda cleanse and ACV rinse last month and I'm not sure if it was a good idea. Might have dried my hair out. My hair seemed very clean, I've been experiencing dryness eversince. I'm currently looking for a good clarifying shampoo.
