Smoothing Puff & Day 2 or 3 Hair
Hi,
I love my puff, but for some reason my edges will not smooth down no matter what I do sometimes. Here's what I do to my hair prior to putting it in a puff:
1. Wash & condition or co-wash
2. Apply water based conditioner
3. Seal with oil
4. Apply creme based conditioner
5. Apply gel to smooth down edges
Once I get to step 5 it's downhill from there. My hair looses its shine and the hair lifts. It's very moisturized, but it looks fuzzy. HELP!
Should I forgo the moisturizing process and just leave it for the puff itself and just apply gel to the edges, etc? Any advice is appreciated.
Finally, how do you wear your puff 2 or more days without co-washing it?
Thanks in advance my natural chicas!

I have used castor oil to smooth my edges down. You can also tie a satin scarf around your edges to help them lay down until you are ready to leave the house. Hope that helps!

Re: Smoothing Puff & Day 2 or 3 Hair
I've been rocking a puff for the last week. About mid week, I decided to smooth my hair with some Aloe Vera gel at night and tie a scarf around it. My hair was so smooth and wavy the next morning. I still had to use my Eco Styler gel in the morning for my edges, but my hair was beautiful. As a matter of fact, tonight is hair washing night, I want to twist my hair, but my puff is looking too good. I don't want to give it up!
What type of gel are you using? That could be the problem as well.
