Re: KeraCare Natural Textures
I have been trying to track this product down and finally found it at a local salon. I used the Cleansing Cream, the Leave in Conditioner and the Twist & Define Cream. This was honestly the best results that I have EVER had for a twist out. My hair was shiny, soft also with excellent hold but not hard or stiff. I received so many compliments. With my twist I will usually retwist at night, but this time I did not I pineappled my hair each night and and my hair held up for 4 days! I could have tried for a 5th but I was in the mood for an updo by the 5th day. Very impressed!! This is a must have for me now!

Re: KeraCare Natural Textures
Can I be honest, I was kinda disappointed when I first heard of the KeraCare naturals line. My thought was that I had always been happy that Black businesses had the monopoly on black natural haircare products and I wondered how these small Black-owned businesses would compete with the big name of Avlon/KeraCare in the future.
I know this post might seem a little racist, and I assure you I'm not a racist, I just liked the idea that out of all the money we Black women pour into the haircare industry, finally more of it was going to help our fellow people.
I've read things about how Korean shop owners squeeze out business for Black people and things like THIS just upsets me a little.
I know I shouldn't care, but I do. Sorry, if I offend anyone.

I purchased the leave-in and the twisting cream. The leave-in wasn't good for detangling for me but it was moisturizing. The twisting cream has very good hole and left my twists shiny, and they lasted for two weeks even though I washed them.

Heard a lot of good things about this one...definitely my next purchase...
Anyone compare it to Mizani's natural line? Haven't heard too many good things about that line...

Do they have a conditioner to this line? I'm looking for a good one that is cost effective.

Re: KeraCare Natural Textures
Hey ladies:
I was at Target & Sally's & Walmart last night; thank goodness Target and Sally's are two doors from each other in a little strip mall and Walmart is in my path on the way home from Target and Sally's. Anywho, I saw KeraCare products at Target and was tempted to buy something, but I didn't go there for that so I left it alone ... doesn't meant I won't if what I did buy doesn't work out.

They just have a leave-in conditioner and then two daily moisturizers.

Yay! I might get to transition w/ some of the same great lines I'm familiar with. Will definitely be paying close watch to their reviews.

I really like this line, however it can cause flaking after a couple of days. My hair felt moisturized for the first 2 days but afterward was very dry and flaky. I used the entire line. BTW, the hair milk is best used on dry hair. I tried it on wet hair and it caused white build up.
