Braids out?

Hi ladies

I currently have transistiong hair, though only from perm not relaxer so hair is much healthier than when i relaxed in the past!

Anyways, im off on holiday tomorrow - Yayyy, and see MopTopHaven's video on Braids in and out and lovvved her final look!

My hairs loose waes at the mo, but not consitent enough to wear as a style without tweaking it and thought the braiding idea would be simple and easy for holiday! But I will be doing the braids when i get back from the beach and then wanting to wear the Braids out for the evening about 2-3hrs later.

Now if i put them in dry hair, which i think MopTopHaven did (usuing creams etc) - how long til I can take them out if i use some heat and still get a decent look?

Also would you suggest applying some Olive/Coconut oil first as I usually do with my hair, then a Curl Cream once I braid - what should I finish with?

The sounds gone on my laptop at work so cant here her tutorial!
