Big Chopped

I Big Chopped, can't believe I actually did it. I actually did it on July 5th, but I've been so busy playing around with my hair I haven't been on the hair boards for the past few days I made it to 10 months (was trying to get to a year), but I couldn't take the transitioning hair with this summer Chicago humidity. The crazy thing is I wasn't nervous at all, I just said to myself I'm going to go cut my hair and did just that lol! I love my natural hair, but cant say I love the length. It's pretty short, I can't wait until it grows out a little more, but I am very happy with my decision.

Yeah that's cute I like it. You gave me a cute idea of how I'm going to wear my twa.
I'm actually going to bc today from work. I'm not nervous at all (well maybe just a tad bit [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]). I've been transitioning for 5 months now I have about 1 1/2 of new growth. I was wearing sew-in but got tired of all that weave. My permed hair is just so damaged, no matter what I use and what I try to do the hair styles are working for me. The natural hair is shiny and healthy and the perm hair is weak and limp. So I'm no longer going to prolong it.

We were the same I was trying to wait a year but only made it to 10 months. My length is fine, its just the shrinkage and tightly coiledness that makes it look short.I look like I have a TWA when its dry, but when its stretched it doesnt even look like the same hair.
