Sooooo.... Iim trying to become a mixtress and make my own shea butter cream, but I was wondering what I should use in order to obtain the coconut mango scent that I want. I love the shea mix that I get from shescentsit.com, but i just ordered a 4oz jar for $9.00 not including taxes and the jar was only half full so I said not again and decided to make my own. So, if anybody has any suggesttion on how I can obtain the coconut/mango scent please let me know. Oh, and if anybody has had sucesses using a shea/mango butter mix please let me know that also.

They sell shea mango butter near my house at the beauty supply. I was the customer that requested it and the owner stocked it for me. I like using it on my hair, elbows, knees, feet, and belly. I guess you can add a little coconut oil to it and that should work.

I'm a mixtress too, lol.

thanks makeupvixen. I have a long way to go. I tried to mix whipped shea butter and I got distracted and the shea melted to much and then I think I put to much oil in it so when I put it on it's too oily. I really like the scent from shescentsit.com, but I just can't justify paying $9 plus shipping for half a jar if I can do it myself. Now I just have to find out where to get the oils from.

some times you can get a good deal on oils on amazon.com or maybe you can do a product swap with someone here.

Oh and the next time you warm your oily mixture that you just made add some shea butter that's already hard (cooled) and slowly mix it together, don't be afraid to use your hands, Smile. It will help to make it into a cream and not so oily anymore.

lol...another site that sells that kinda stuff is www.camdengrey.com....I ordered some carrier oils and shea butter from them...they have good prices and fast turn around time. I've ordered from all 3 sites and have never had an issue with any of them.
