Where do I find these products???
I'm a natural newbie. I've transitioned for only a month now but stopped using relaxer two months ago. My hair is very curly and I've slowly cut out the relaxer as it grows out, but my hair was always curly even with relaxer.
I am using Curls products and Blended Beauty and Cantu Shea Butter; only sulfate free products and no drying alcohols.
I've been on this site alot and I am struggling to find the oils and raw? African shea butter and glycerin. Is this what I would find only in a Whole Foods store? or is everyone ordering this on-line? Can someone point me in the right direction - I'd appreciate it. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I would love to try the oils to combat the dryness at the crown of my head. I think I'm a 3C/4A. I love using headbands while my bangs grow out. Thanks!

Some of the best places I've found products, that were mentioned on this site, was in little hair supply stores around town.
But if your in a need it right now situation, I would suggest looking online. Naturallycurly.com has a CurlMart that has tons of really good natural hair products.

Thanks DancingDee...I have actually browsed all the local hair supply places and found raw shea without a label with origin, etc. No way was I going to buy something for $8 without a label. I will try CurlMart and an organic goods store next.

I get most of my oils from natural grocery stores like Vitamin Cottage or Whole foods. I've gotten my shea butter from one of the African Markets by my house.
