Nice nails !! everyone lookd nice !!
Well I have had a set back , my middle nail on my right hand just broke out if nowhere and I tried to hang on to it by trying to use some super glue but I guess since it was too close to my skin It would not hold !! so now I'm sad cause I have to cut my nails

@curly me Hi, try mending your broken nail with tissue and super glue. I usually layer small pieces of tissue over the break with the glue. Once it dries I buff it smooth and polish over it. hth

Re: NATURAL NAIL CHALLENGE
I love love love this thread!!! Last night I just took off my solar nails after letting them grow out for like a month (they looked bad) but my real nails are now as long as my fake ones are and they're not nearly as weak as I was expecting them to be!
Anyways, here are my nails for Halloween!!

I drew a spider on my thumb but you can't really see it

Re: NATURAL NAIL CHALLENGE
Ladies! I'll be trying out the Zoya Color Lock system this weekend. It's a 5 step system (remover, base coat, color, top coat, speed dry drops) that's supposed to keep your mani intact for 7-10 days. I've heard good things on youtube and they recently had a promotion offering 6 free polishes if you bought the system. We'll see how this works out!

Re: NATURAL NAIL CHALLENGE
Hi there, long time no post. I recently have been experiencing thin peeling nails. I purchased a couple of Sally Hensen's nail treatment products. Rite Aid had a but one, get one free sale with a Wellness Card. I hope to get good results with them.
One I apply every other day to strengthen thin, peelling nails. I plan to use the other once I begin to polish my nails again.

Re: NATURAL NAIL CHALLENGE
chrs, hope the treatments work out for you.
Here's my current mani using the Zoya color lock:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Well kinda...I started out with all the steps, but then I got this flakie top coat, added that and then put a coat of Seche Vite on because I feel like the Zoya top coat isn't shiny enough.
Early thoughts on Zoya Color Lock:
--I really like the ridge filling base coat. It really provides an even surface to apply color
--I do not like the top coat. I had been using a quick dry (Seche Vite) and this takes too long to dry even with the drying drops on them and as mentioned above I don't think it's shiny enough.
--So far I'm liking the staying power though.

Re: NATURAL NAIL CHALLENGE
i havent been gettin my notifications from here i was wonderin what happened to people!!
i have soooo slacked off my nail reggie since about Sept i just havent taken the time i did in the beginning to do them so they've been cracking at the white meat (bernie mac, lol) and although they seem strong, they get sharp. my thumbs still break off first and my nails are so uneven
**sigh** gimme a second n i'll get back on point. other than that...yall are lookin good.

Zoya update:
So I got a good 4 days out of that mani--which isn't too shabby I guess. Usually I get chips by day 2. I probably could have gotten another day out of it if I hadn't decided to wash the dishes without gloves. Overall I'm pleased though.
