So after National Afro Day I had to twist my hair, but while dong it I kept cringing because when I got to my ends my hair felt like it was in little tangled balls. I heard that this is a tall tale sign of split ends. I never thought I would actually be able to notice this but when I was in the middle of twist I thought...I'm going to cut them. So for the first time in my life...well not the first. I think every little girl thought they can cut their hair and messed up. Well did I mess up?

Looks good! The couple of inches you lost will be quickly forgotten after you touch your hair and it all feels the same

Yea I'm not missing it I just hope I dont get addicted and cut it when I feel anything. I know a natural like that and her bottom half of her hair is much shorter than the top which is find becaue it looks like a cute style but she told me she never even planned that it just happened cuz she kept cutting. And she cuts everytime there is growth!

I've never had hair shorter than shoulder length but i can see the hastle in maintaing a short style. Don't get to sissors happy now because you probably want to see how much your hair can grow first.

i use the same method to cut my hair
whenever i see some dry unruly pieces in my twists
i just chop chop!
at first i was scared but my hair felt better afterwards
