I want to try these this weekend. Do you all use pins to keep them in place? or do they just stay?

So I guess I'll go with something creamy and maybe a gel for hold on damp hair (since that seems to be the consensus).

I have a few that requires bobby pinning but for the most part they stay naturally.

I think I'm either going to twist them first or I may just have to do them on freshly cowashed hair. If I do the latter how do you ladies protect the curls the following days other than wearing a satin cap? Do you redo them each night?

I make bigger knots to preserve and wear a satin cap when sleeping.

I have to do it on dry hair that's moisturized and spritzed with water, or it will never dry!
