OMG!! Now I am really confused

Hello Ladies,

Ok, so I came across this thread when I was searching for a really good water-based moisturizer. Scroll down to where it mentions Sealing in your Moisturizers. I always thought (well, read) that the correct order to moisturize and seal is 1). water-based product, 2). oil based product, 3). cream based product. Man, this article says the opposite. According to this article, the correct order to moisturize and seal is 1). water based, 2). cream based, 3). oil based. I apply my oil last.

I've been doing in the first order, water based, oil based, cream based and my hair has been thriving very well.

I say if that's what you have been doing it and works for you, continue to do it.

I do it the first way, and it works fine for me. Maybe someone can give a scientific answer to the recommended order? I'm curious...
