Carol's Daughter Hair Milk
Thinking about buying Carol's Daughter hair milk. I've heard it's her best seller and it works well for wash n go's. Has anyone tried it? If so what were your results. I know its been out forever!
Thanks!
Thanks!

It's ok- Her products tend to have some lingering smells! Go to Macy's or Dillards and ask for a sample first!

I'm smelling it right now. It smells kinda lemongrassy. I have to be honest, since my girl Mary J. pushes these products I was all gung ho but I'm not that impressed. I bought the lip gloss $14 and it's sticky and tacky as all get out. It's been sitting on the dresser forever. I also bought the hair milk $12 for 4 oz. and I put it in my hair (a 4 type combo) with no noticable difference. I also put it in my daughter's hair (3b) hoping that it would tame the frizzies. It didn't seem to help. But in the products defense she IS 5.

I wasn't a fan. It was coating/producty for no reason (didn't really moisturize or provide hold) and caused my daughter's hair to attract tons of lint. That was about 2-3 or so years ago, so things may have improved. I LOVE their Hair Elixir and Mimosa Hair Honey. I think my daughter's hair and mine do better with their oil-based hair products.

I don't mind the smell but it builds up easily. It is also kind of watery. I've bought it 2x because it does well on my daughter's 3c hair, but her hair has very defined curls anyway. I like the coconut hibiscus curl milk by sheamoisture because it's thicker & doesn't seem to build up as easily. Also, I can get it @ target. The nearest sephora is an hour away and they don't always have CD products in stock.

I tried to use it for a Wash n Go, COMPLETE DISASTER. It left my hair dull and dry looking. I have a variety of CD products and the milk is not my fav.

I purchased it a while ago but returned it...couldn't get pass the fragrance. I've been using Darcy's Botanicals hair milk and it keeps my hair moisturized and soft.

not a fan either, I wasted my money. I tried a wash ang too, while there was less frizz, I had not curl definition and it felt heavy
