Kinda Suspect Empty Kinda Suspect

Post by yaya 17th May 2010, 11:22 pm

Ok ladies. Emergency here. I "aquired" some henna. Upon recieving the henna I was confused because of the packaging. Haven't found much on line. Its a green powder that the directions say mix with water. It "claims" to be 100% henna. No other ingredients. It says to let sit on hair for 30-60 minutes before washing out. But the only henna I have seen comes in packages not a bottle. I'm confused and want to see if anyone has heard of this stuff before using it on my hair. Here is a picture of the stuff.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I'm not sure but you should post this in the henna forum.

I would do a test patch before applying. take some hair that you have shed from a comb- then test it with the henna based on the directions.

Also do a search for indian grocery in your area and buy the henna from them

Do not use that Henna it is Fake!!! Please go to the website called Henna for Hair. Click on the free E-book "How to" Henna Hair. Scroll down and you will see the same bottle of supposedly Henna. This is not real Henna!!! Please get Body Art Quality Henna.

DON'T use it!! I bought the same brand, but the colorless henna. It's a complete waste of money. It leaves your hair dry and really rough. Wrongful labeling.
