8 months Pics? How long to ponytail?

One of my friends is BCing next month (yay! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ) at 8 months post relaxer. She has 3c/4a hair and is
worried about how short it will be.

Can you please post any pics of your hair at around 8 months post
relaxer (straight and/or curly)? Also, about how long was it (in
months) before you could put your hair in a ponytail (or ponypuff)?

I'm at 8 months post, but I'm not sure if we have the same hair type or not. I just took this right now on my macbook for this post, so forgive the crazy look.

ETA: Ok, I just realized that I have the same shirt on as I wore in my avatar. I SWEAR I don't wear that shirt every day.

Here is a pic of my hair 8 month post-relaxer. My last relaxer was in March, and I chopped in June 2009 and this is my hair in October. Her hair will grow faster in six months than it will in six weeks.

Good questions! Mines never does that. But then again I am only at 7 months in.

@ktoliver and mstokes I use a little I.C. Fantasia Gel on my sides then brush them up with a toothbrush.

i think this should be a forum. "Post relaxer", and there should be a section for for each month. This is good information to know because I would like to see what other curly's hair look like at a certain months. what do you think?

O, i know alot of people say "my hair does not look like it growing" this way they can go and look at other naturals that are at their stage and see that they are doing just fine.
