I did my first braidout using the Jane Carter's Solution. I did a review of it and I used coconut oil to sandwich it in my hair. I really like Jane Carter's products and I think it may become a staple in my routine. A little really goes a long way. It looked great for a week and then I braided it again dry using the coconut oil and Jane Carter's. Here is the link. Let me know if you have used this and how your hair turned out!

Thank you! I think there is something better than the Jane Carter's but I have not found it yet. I do not think the 8.99 is bad compared to Miss Jessies, Mixed Chicks or Curlz. I will keep it in the rotation to see how it does. I might not even like it when I am halfway through the bottle!

I like Jane Carter's Condition and Sculpt and the Wrap and Roll. A little does go a long way. I like the fact that its doesn't leave a sticky feel to my hair.

I have not tried the twist and lock yet but I went to my health food store and noticed it was on sale. I really want to buy it but I decided not too. I do love the other two products I have. I am thinking about going back and cleaning up on those products! A sale is a sale!

DreamMerchant, I wish I could find JCS on sale here in GA. I'm going to check or call my wholefoods to see. My TnL is almost gone and it cost like $25. It has a sticky holding texture like a whipped shea butter. It does not have much shine to it though, but I just use other products for shine.
