I really need to post some pictures so that you can see the difference bewteen the two but for my hair, the braid and curl is the hottest rage. The twistout was quick and easy but the results just do not last very long. Maybe a day or day and a half and that is retwisting in chunks at night. I decided to do a braid and curl. It took 45 minutes longer to braid it but the results are more defined curls and I can get three days out of them without rebraiding. I can get a week if I rebraid in chunks. I do have some video of me with a braidout and me with a twistout. Twistouts are fluffier and the braidouts were more defined and non fluffy. Even when I use the same products. I think that the braidout will be my new signature style.

Here is my video with some twistouts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0381ZKtC-VM

YEA BRAIDOUTS WORK BETTER FOR ME TOO. I JUST STARTED DOING THEM TWO WEEKS AGO....BEFORE THAT IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE TWIST OUT....BUT THEY BOTH LAST A GOOD 5 DAYS, MAYBE THE BRAIDOUT GETS AN EXTRA DAY OR TWO.

AS FAR AS RETWISTING...MAYBE ITS THE WAY YOU SLEEP THAT MAKES IT ONLY LAST A FEW DAYS?

I do not know. I keep my hair covered so I am not all over the pillow or sheets. Hmm, maybe if I could keep my hands out of my hair then they would last longer!

WELL I USE TO COVER MY HEAD WITH A SATIN BONNET........I BOUGHT IT FROM SALLYS, BUT IT HAS A RUBBERBAND EDGE....CAN WE SAY BROKEN EDGES?? LOL...WELL IT'S STILL GROWING BACK....BUT NOW I ONLY SLEEP ON A SATIN PILLOWCASE AND LEAVE MY HAIR FREE. I POSITION MYSELF AND THEN MOVE MY HAIR OUT OF THE WAY AND LET IT BE FREE.

OH YEAH I LOVE TO PLAY IN MY HAIR TOO!! LOL DON'T FEEL BAD!
