Reactions After Big Chop

I have received nothing but favorable comments since doing the Big Chop. My husband who was kind of concerned about my early big chop said that it looked good. I went to church last night and everyone said that it looked good. I had several comments from people who said that my hair cut made me look younger. I am very pleased that I did the BC. I must admit that I am wondering what my daughter's reactions will be when she comes home from college this weekend. I was supposed to wait until my new growth growed out a little more. I am going to take my own advice that I gave to someone else. No matter what, I am going to rock my TWA with confidence! Who knows, my daughter may just surprise me.

I remember when my mom had her bc.. she still has a twa cause she doesn't want it longer
At first I was kind of sceptical but I ended up loving it because she loved it!

Ladies, I just wanted to let you know that my daughter's reactions to my BC was great! I also got another compliment from a lady who I go to church with. She thought I had a texturizer in my hair because I had had used IC Fantasia gel today to clump my curls. I explained to her that I did not have a texturizer and that I used gel to acheive the look. She then said that I must have "good hair". I explained to her that I didn't. I told her that her hair probably would do the same thing. She said that she tried everything when she was natural to get that look but nothing worked. I thought her calling my hair "good hair" was quite funny since I have have what is traditionally referred to as "kinky, nappy hair."
