So im going to a wedding in April...

Hello everybody!

im new to the forum (but ive been reading CurlyNikki for awhile now and dont attack me but i never knew it was so active over here lol). ive been transitioning since Dec 09 and im thinkin about cutting my hair this summer. until then i was gonna get box braids so i wouldnt have to mess with it but my mom didnt want me to have braids for the wedding. so now i dont know wat to do with my hair. i gave myself a trim a couple of months ago and havent recovered since lol. its to uneven to wear out and ive been wearing buns ever since (the avatar pic is before i cut it lol). any hair ideas?

An updo is always elegant, you can even do it with box braids

How about a braid out set with rollers.

@Cocoeuro- i thought the same thing but my mom is really against box braids for the wedding.

@NaturallyJustMe- i was thinkin about doing a braid out but my hair is very uneven from the cut i did myself

Here's a fancy updo I recently did on my daughter:

You can do a twist out, curlformer/flexirod/other curler set, curls box braids with a flower on the side, oh the possibilities!
