Is my hair really that long??

i BCd n september and the shock of shaving my head left that image engraved n my mind. months later im just realizing that i actualy have hair and only realized it after posting a pic of a new style even though i c it every day. any other curlies have this moment where it seems your hair came out of no where after ur BC?

Yes. I got hair on the back of my head tangled in my necklaces and I was like....oh snap! It's longer!

I get this several times. Most recently I mixed a batch of bentonite clay and had to mix another batch because I underestimated how much hair I have.

I take TONS of self pics.. And honestly did no realize how long it has gotten till I sent my friend a pic from when i BCd to now. I was like well good googly moogly my hair has grown.. Your hair is awesome hun.. and did you do that style yourself???

I have moments like that. I realized a couple of weeks ago that I could feel my hair on my neck when I was wearing a twistout.

I get that alot, too! I have ridiculous amounts of pics from start to present! It's exciting to track your hair progess!!!

I had to come back and find this thread b/c I'm wearing my hair in a afro puff today for the first time in a couple of months and I am surprised at how big it is! When I got into my car to go work today, my puff hit the car as I was getting in and I had to refluff that side. I had to be careful getting out so I wouldn't mess up my hair. The same thing happens to me now. The first time it happened, I was like, "Is my hair rubbing up against the roof of the car?" I checked it out in the mirror and IT WAS!!! I was grinning all the way to church that morning. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
