Which Heat Protectant to Use
Ladies, I am wanting to straighten my hair just a TAD in order to maximize length on a dry twist-out.
Which heat protectants do you use when straightening your hair? Also, is there a certain brand of hand hair dryer you use? I have my old Golden Hot left over from my relaxed days, but it's OLD and has a comb with small teeth on it.
Thanks!

I recently bought and love Hot Sauce by FHI. My hair has great shine and is not oily. I use my old revelon blow dryer. HTH

Why don't you band it first instead?

What do you mean by banding?
Like pulling back in a ponytail until it drys?

I really like the Fantasia Ic Hair Polisher Heat Protector/Straightening Serum. It says it straightens, shines, and protects your hair plus its cheap! Its a serum so its a lot like biosilk (if you have ever used that), its very light but doesnt leave your hair greasy.

Some oils, like grapeseed, can resist heat up to varying temperatures. My daughter uses grapeseed as a heat protectant .
