I woke up and my idea for my hair and what actually was is so far gone its not even funny. LoL but I did laugh at myself and then I co-washed and put in the KCCC because its the only thing that reduces my frizz and defines and shine my curls. I know I hate the way it makes my hair feel all sticky but it does what it says it will do. sooooo IDK. lol

I'm sorry it didnt work out for you. What about it didnt you like?

I have been noticing weird things in my hair. Like right in the middle on the top of my head and in the back of my head i have very smooth and kind of looser curls and then on the sides its super coily or kinky and tends to be more dry than the other parts what the heck is that about if anyone knows.

I don't know!! My hair has split personalities too! The sides and the back are the curliest and the easiest to comb through. Then the front section has like no curl but the ends are wavy. And the middle is curly too but it's really dry. Every section of my hair is completely different! lol I totally understand moriah ...

I'm sorry that I didn't answer your question about product build up. I've been busy this week and didn't get to post like I wanted.

You can tell if you have product build up when your hair feel weighed down. You know kinda heavy feeling...if that makes sense.

Advice on the KCCC....less with a TWA is best, and make sure you use the pomade. You have the right length to use it for a w'n'g. Just condition with the KnotToday. Make sure you hair is saturated with water and put a nice amount in your palm and rub it on your hair like you would do gel.

Then come back with your spray bottle and spray more water. It really would work best if you apply while you are in the shower. The key is water to help dilute the product.

I hope this makes sense...I'll find the YouTube video with the instructions and post here for you tonight.

You have the perfect length for the KCCC...

Also, MahoganyCurls only used conditioner and oil on her hair when she had your length..check out her thread and her YouTube videos.

I'll check back tonight...I promise!!

@KinkyNappyHappy, Thats okay girl i figured it was something like that anyways. And about the KCCC i figured out how to make it work for me too. I just kept trying again and again and like you said I did end up applying the product and then spraying it again. I hate that I had to go back on what I said about the product but I do love the results now that my hair is not sticky. Here are some pics from today.

I like your hair!!! I just BC'd about 12 days ago and I know what you mean about the different textures! my sides are really kinky looking while the middle and the front is nice and curly/wavey....

my mom has kccc and I think i might have to steal it from her and try it after seeing your results.

@p_nuttie43: yes girl my hair is so many freakin textures its not even funny. The KCCC at first was sticky on my hair and I said that I hated it but i figured out a way to make it work. The results were always great because it would really define my hair and eliminate frizz. I think you should give it a try. CONGRATS ON YOUR BC!!!...how are you liking it???

@p_nuttie43: I completely understand what you are saying. At first I had a false love for my TWA but it really grew on me and now I love it, some days more than others. Wink but yes it is so much easier to manage I spend less time doing my hair and now i have more time to play around with make up. I'm glad you like it!

First of all CONGRATULATIONS on getting a job!!! cheers

Also I really think the wash n' go will be very appropriate. Either that or a twist out would look great!

Thank you! and im sooo in the same boat with you on the headbands. Most beauty supply stores have plenty of them but i can never find one that i like AND does hurt my head missmoriahiscurly - Page 3 Icon_sad I would use some of my old necklaces but since my hair is so short, you would see the hook and yaa doesnt sound too attractive. . . maybe after my hair grows out long enough to hide it. Anyway, if i find something ill let you know!

Hey missmoriah - I've been reading through your thread and want to say WELCOME to the challenge.

I think your hair is really cute - I love how glossy it looks! Congrats on the new gig and I look forward to reading your posts!

And don't worry about your hair having split personalities - mine does too. It's very coily in the back, wavier in the front, with a looser curl pattern. And I sleep on my left side, so that hair is shorter than the right-side. lol

Congratulations on your new job!!!!! I think the w'n'g with the KCCC would be a nice style for work. Don't worry about co-washing so much, because you are trying to find what works for you. However, please D/C weekly so your hair doesn't dry out!!!

I really loved the pictures you took after the KCCC!!!!
